Traverse City Premier of Called To Rescue with Directors Q & A. Called To Rescue was created by local residents Chef Loghan Call (plantedcuisine.com) and Naomi Call (naomicall.com). Reservations are required as seating is limited.
Doors will open at 5:45 with a plant based dinner created by Chef Loghan Call. Dinner will be served at 6:00pm. Desserts will follow provided by our sponsor Press On Juice. Tickets for dinner and the film are $25.00. Please be on time.
Doors will reopen at 7:00 for the screening of Called To Rescue. Tickets for the film are $10.00. Beverages will be available on a donation basis.
Called To Rescue is a family friendly film that showcases the compassionate and amazing work being done on sixteen farm animal sanctuaries across the country. Leading environmental activists are also featured including musician and composer Moby, author of World Peace Diet, Dr. Will Tuttle and musican Tony Kanal.
The screening is a fundaiser for continuing to move the film out into the world, furthering sanctuary work globally and continuing educational efforts. The film has screened in nine countries, been translated into French and won a handful of awards. Called To Rescue was an all volunteer effort by the Call family that has raised thousands of dollars for sanctuary work and furthered global education.
