Planted Cuisine & Casamor Farms’ is happy to announce the next backyard farm to table dinner experience! After a wonderful first event, our hope is to host an event every month…starting with July!
Why is it called an “experience”?
Our event is an experience because its far more than dinner…it’s an invitation to leave the city behind and step into our backyard oasis and experience not a farm-to-table dinner, but a backyard farm-to-table dinner experience. 80% of the ingredients will be sourced from the land that you will be eating dinner on. 95% of the ingredients will be sourced from urban farms and urban plots in the local region. Many of the hands who grew your food will be present to engage, converse and answer any questions you might have. All of the food will be organic, plant-based and all but dessert will be gluten-free.
Your chef for the evening (Loghan Call, Planed Cuisine), will take you through the five course tasting menu dish by dish, explaining the inspiration, where the ingredients were sourced from and the health benefits of each course.
Your evening will begin with a cocktail hour from 6-7pm with a full bar, including our signature cocktail of the month (it’s a surprise!), a selection of wines as well as beer. Our cocktails will be served by our talented mixologist and live music, curated for this event series will play throughout the evening. Appetizers will be served throughout cocktail hour to satisfy your tastebuds until the dinner experience begins.
Your ticket includes a five course, locally sourced & organic dinner, appetizers, and one drink (of your choice). We will have a bar available to purchase drinks beyond the complimentary offering. We can accept cash or card (via Square).
As part of our commitment to community and a sustainable, healthy future we are teaming up with the Share Necessities to donate a percentage of the tickets sales that will go toward feeding the homeless at the Santa Monica Homeless Shelter. Chef Loghan Call will personally be serving the meal alongside Casamor Farms’ team members, the kitchen staff and the Share Necessities team. We will have photos from our time volunteering and founder of the Share Necessities, Arjuna O’Neill will be present at dinner to talk briefly about the work his non-profit organization does and the value of our time spent giving back to those in need.

We our incredibly excited to be moving forward with another backyard farm-to-table dinner experience. With the garden continuing to grow, we look forward to providing you with the ultimate experience: a dinner that is fulfilling, healthy, local and we hope, inspiring.
Dinner will be served from 7 to 9:30pm, outside in our backyard farm. We recommend bringing layers!
